1. Services

Road Trip Car Rental LLC d/b/a Bluegrass Car Rentals ("Company") provides short-term passenger vehicle rentals to qualified renters in Lexington, Kentucky. By booking a vehicle through this website, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Vehicle Rental Agreement presented at checkout.

2. Booking & Payment

A booking is confirmed only after payment is successfully processed. Rental charges, taxes, and fees are shown at checkout. A non-refundable driver screening fee may apply. A security deposit is authorized at pickup and released after return if the vehicle is undamaged and all charges are settled.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

You may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup are eligible for a 50% refund of the rental charges. Taxes and the driver screening fee are non-refundable once screening has been initiated. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear.

4. Renter Eligibility

You must hold a valid driver's license, be at least 21 years of age, and pass a motor vehicle record screening. You must provide personal auto insurance that covers rental vehicles. The Company may decline any booking based on screening results.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to misrepresent your identity or driving history. You agree to provide accurate information at booking and to operate any rented vehicle in accordance with the Vehicle Rental Agreement and all applicable laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kentucky law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or a rented vehicle. The Company's total liability for any claim is limited to the rental charges paid for the rental in question.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Any dispute is resolved exclusively in the courts located in Fayette County, Kentucky.

8. Changes to These Terms

The Company may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
