- Payment information: processed by Base44 Payments / Wix; the Company does not store full card numbers.
Why We Collect It
We use this information to determine rental eligibility, complete driver screening and verification, process payments, communicate about your booking, and fulfill our legal and contractual obligations.
Who We Share It With
- Checkr Inc. — to obtain motor vehicle records (MVR) as part of driver screening, as authorized by you.
- Base44 Payments / Wix — to process booking payments and security deposits.
- Twilio — to send SMS booking confirmations and return reminders, where you have opted in.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as described above or as required by law.
Data Retention
Rental records (including contact details, license information, and insurance details) are retained for 7 years for tax and legal record-keeping purposes. Screening data obtained through Checkr is retained according to Checkr's and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requirements. Uploaded insurance documents are stored with restricted, non-public access.
